Work has started on the casting of the bronze Shell Lady which will be installed on the Harbour Arm in September 2008. As part of this innovative project, twelve seven foot tall Shell Ladies will be making an appearance in the Margate Old Town over the bank holiday weekend (25th & 26th May, 2008).
