Catch the fast train to success

In 2009 the Thanet rail service will connect directly onto the high speed rail link providing a fast route to and from London St Pancras. A new depot is already under construction in Ramsgate which in due course will serve Margate and potentially Kent International Airport.

 

Roads to the area have already been improved with a new direct road into Ramsgate Harbour for freight. Residents and visitors benefit from the Thanet Loop, a modern, fully accessible 'round the island' bus service. The service features bus priority systems to reduce delay, and modern bus stops with information updates for passengers.

 

Major investment to radar and lighting at Kent International Airport by new owners Infratil to improve the longest and widest runway outside London, — one of the few capable of landing Jumbo 777's' — says we are ready for take-off.

 

Add business parks with flexible planning, high quality seafront homes and a landmark new gallery for Turner Contemporary, opening in Margate in 2010 and you know you have a dream ticket.

 

Planes, trains, automobiles and even boats allow you to work rest and play on the coast, and be in London or the continent in little over an hour.
